Changing IP addresses

My *cough* network has just changed IP addresses (WAN) but the problem is that this means the DNS servers IP addresses have changed too, so now no-one can find any sites or even the name servers.

Originally when I was going to host my own domain name server, I enquired to my registrar about changing the default nameservers for those domains, and he said that he had submitted my nameservers and their IPs to Internic to be added to the root. Now I assume that is what I need to do again now, but... erm, how?

Oh and em, ADSL Link Speed: 4384kbps / 576kbps heh, SNR is 3.5 though so that is critically bad. Seems to be issues with the internal wiring in the house, that and the phone socket is REALLY bad (aka ghetto). I'll post some pictures below. People kept telling me to use the test socket, but there isn't one there and to remove the ring filter, but my dad keeps dismissing all this stuff (he was an engineer for quite a few years 15 years ago) I mean he must be good, he wired this socket! (it's now the only socket in the house).

Ok, can someone move this to emergency help please as this really is quite urgent. Everyone I'm hosting email for and sites are all just going to lose them till I sort this, and the email may bounce entirely.

i'm not sure if you can do it with them, but with certain registrars, such as Network Solutions, Register.com, or Dotster, you can register your own DNS servers to the root. Each site is totally different as to how to do it, but it can be done. Best bet is to call your registrar again and have them point the root DNS servers to the new IP for you, or at least tell you how you can do it on your own.

They did it last time, so I just need to get them to do it for the new IP addresses this time.

Done and done, easy enough. They've actually set up a page so you can do it yourself now, heh. http://xtreme.fasthosts.co.uk/kbv.exe?wrap=1&ID=353
