X1800 to be available in AGP version too

edited November 2005 in Hardware
It seems that not all companies have given up on giving the AGP motherboards the latest and greatest gpu's yet. Diamond multimedia is supposed to be releasing an AGP vivo vid card using the X1800 gpu. It's nice to see a company actually develop a custom PCB to put this latest chipset out instead of just blindly releasing a clone of the vid card the GPU manufacturer has developed.

Here's a link to Diamond's webpage showing that they will be releasing both PCI-e and AGP versions of their cards.

Now if only some manufacturer would be enterprising enough to come out with an AGP version of the 7800GTX GPU. :(
