Nforce4 SATA trouble
Okay, I have tried multiple sets of drivers on floppy disk but I can only get Windows XP Setup to recognize my old EIDE drive. I have 3 questions, do I need to :
A)Update the Maxtor SATA drives firmware
B)Update my ECS Nforce4 A754 Bios, its at 1.0b right now
C)Try to RAID stripe them, but they aren't identical drives.
I am OUT of ideas, I have been at this for a month.

And of course you can install XP on an IDE drive, istall the chipset drivers and then use Ghost or Acronis True Image to clone the setup to a SATA drive or Raid array.
