Am I Going Crazy Here? x64 bootable disc

I have downloaded windows x64 from the ms site and have wasted about 10 CDRs trying to burn this thing...every different way or with programs even MS suggests. But I still can not get that x64 disc to boot? i have an amd 64 2800+ with 1 gig of ram with a 100 gb hd. I have used nero to burn the iso with the bootable option with a windows xp boot disk. I might be rambling but I need help. I will be bouncing around this forum for answers while hoping the answer comes here as well.lol

    Go into your BIOS and check to make sure the CD/DVD-ROM appears before the HDD in the boot order.

    i got it, thanks to a well laid out nero boot burning site i can't think of now because i'm my x64 system..lol
