Need help w/ a couple of things

Hello,

I keep getting a window called mmj (?) or mmov (?) coming up on my screen, even without my browser being open, that almost always has an ad though sometimes it is just white. I have run Spybot S&D and AdAware many times and it does not help.

Also when I run Spybot S&D and AdAware, I lose all of my recently viewed web sites in the pull-down menu of my IE. I do not know which program causes this to happen.

1. Click "Open the Misc Tools Section"
2. Click "Open Process manager"

Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following:

• Go Start
• Control Panel
• Click on Internet Options
• Click the General Tab and under Temporary Internet Files click...
• Delete Files...
• Delete Cookies...

Download Ewido Security Suite

• Install ewido security suite
• When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck..
  • Install background guard
  • Install scan via context menu
• Launch ewido, there should be an icon on your desktop, double-click it.
• You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files.
  • On the left hand side of the main screen click update.
  • Then click on Start Update.
• The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
  (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
• Now, scan with it by clicking 'Scanner' on the left and choosing 'Complete System Scan'

Open HJT and "Open the Misc Tools Section" should be the 4th option. You will then see Open Process manager
