Compaq p110 monitor with no picture

Ok all, I have a Compaq 21" p110 monitor that just died on me. It is getting power but apparently no signal. I'm assuming this because the screen is black and the power button flashes yellow after I turn it on. Also, I don't feel any static when I put my hand/arm to the screen (I know, very technical way to test huh?? :D ) Anyway, is there something I can check to see what may be the problem? I'm guessing it's something with the monitor because I DON'T see a bouncing box when no signal is being received.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Geoff

That blinking LED is usually a trouble code. You may be able to take it in to a Sony repair shop to get it fixed or at least diagnosed.

I'd be willing to bet something happened to the power supply feeding the flyback. After a blurry/warped image, that's what always died first on old TVs and monitors when I was doing A/V repair.
