Has anyone used it? What is your oppinion? I used it for songs/mp3s. However I ended up with a bunch, BUNCH of spyware and viruses when I tried to use it for software or videos. I am just curious what others have to say about it.

I recommend not using any P2P software to obtain anything illegal, and so does this site's rules.

If you are using P2P to look for songs/MP3s, you will keep getting spyware and viruses. That's the name of the game. Use a legitimate service such as iTunes or rhapsody, or the actual store where you buy actual CDs.

my brother uses it. He doesn't have a problem with spyware or virii. I don't know what he downloads with it. I don't want to know.

I've had Kazaa for a couple years now, and I just downloaded Limewire 4.9.37 a couple days ago. Kazaa is going out fast. They used to have over a billion files available, now they're down to 200-300 million.

Spyware and viruses are just a part of file sharing services. I accept the risk. I try to keep my systems loaded with enough firewall and antivirus software to keep the bad stuff out, and have only had a couple significant problems in the last couple years.

It comes with the territory.

Say what you will about file sharing services, but I never would have found that "Trailer Park Boys" tv show from Canada without Kazaa. I have the 3 part pilot movie and every episode from all 5 seasons so far.

People that I know highly recommend kazaa. I just often have problems finding songs and other files I want to download. Maybe I just dont know where to look well enough.

I tell everyone I know that they can't use it, and if they do I won't fix their computer. I'd say 95% of the problems I end up fixing are caused by either stupid dl's off of Kazaa or Limewire.
