Hey guys. I've been having a serious problem with pop-ups, spyware, and something called spyaxe. Its just driving me crazy. Theres always this little pop up saying " your computer is infected!" When clicked it goes to a website and automatically loads the spyaxe. Crazy Crazy Crazy :scratch: ...It just wont go away with all the antivirus scanners I've used. Anyway heres my hjt log. I know someone here has got to have the remedy as usual. Thnx in advance

    In order to clean your PC from infections related to Spyware Axe product, please follow the instructions below:

    1) Save Uninstallers.zip from http://www.spyaxe.com/uninstall/uninstallers.zip to your desktop or HDD.

    2) Extract 2 files "illegal_adv_uninstall1.exe" and "illegal_adv_uninstall2.exe" to your desktop or your HDD using WinZip.

    3) Execute both of them one by one by double-clicking with your mouse.

    4) Reboot your PC

    5) Your PC is now clean from the infections.

    Rescan with HijackThis and post a new log. You have a few infections besides spyaxe.

    Hey. Ive downloaded the Uninstallers.zip. Only problem is that when i open it up i only see one file (illegal_adv_uninstall.exe), not the two that you mention above. When I try to run this one file nothing happens.

    any other help? im hoping to get rid of this nasty virus. my family uses this computer and keep clicking on the popup by the taskbar which boots the spyaxe (making it worse). heres my log again
