Toshiba Portege 4000 won't turn on
Toshiba Portege 4000 laptop won't turn on.
When ac adaptor plugged in icon for plug (ac adaptor) blinks. When I leave the adaptor plugged in, the plug icon still blinks.
After an overnight charge, the plug icon still blinks even when the adaptor is not plugged in.
When press power switch, a few of the lighted icons blink for a fraction of a second (and the plug icon goes out). Then all lights go out for a few seconds. After a few more seconds, the plug light starts blinking again.
Any suggestions

Most notebooks always draw power through the battery, even when using the AC. If the battery has an internal fault it will not power up.
