is it possible. i really hate windows. and dont want to spend the minimum of $60 on a new windows os disc for my new comp i built. mainly i want to use it for gaming. i play diablo 1,2 starcraft, BF2 and counterstrike. now is there any way for me to use linux and still play these games? or would it take forever and an ass load of emulators/blinds to do it. any help would be appreciated. thx

Well, I've used linux as my desktop forever and I would say forget it. Unless you want to deal with problems save yourself a headache. I used to run a lot of games on linux but it was such a PITA over long periods of time that I just stoped gaming. If all you want to do is game, why struggle.

Agreed. Unless the game is Linux native then it's going to be a headache and if you don't know Linux at all then it will be even harder.
