    "Your" :)

    Seems a little excessive really. The only real thing that cought me there was the "400 disc changer" so unless you need it to hold 400 discs at once, I'd settle for a £40 one.

    Ditto.

    Do you really want to pay $400 to save yourself the effort of pressing an eject button and walking across your living room. And plus I don't have 400DVDs!

    Try these.

    5.1 surround sound systems

    or,

    or if you already have a 5.1 Surround Sound setup:

    or a DVD Recorder:

    Personally I would rather have a 5.1 home cinema system and a hundred notes in my pocket than not have to worry about getting up to change a disk. Besides the exercise would be good to work off all that Christmas Turkey!:)

    If the player is competent at the upscaling that it does, it may be worth the $400 regardless of the 400-disc changer capability.

    Somebody may have posted a review of the unit over on avsforum.com
    //edit:
    Here is a thread about it over there. :thumbsup:

    I am thinking of ripping all my DVD's to a NAS device them playing them with a multimedia computer - I already have more than 400 DVD's and if I add music on top of that and VCD's and other content I would be close to 1000 so NAS would be an expandible option for me, a device like this one would be too small for my needs.

    The reason I am "lazy" to push the eject button is when you have this much material a catalogued database is much more effecient at finding what you want to play then searching a shelf going "I know this title is here somewhere"

    Currently I am using a z500 High Def networked DVD player, but this will be retired to the bedroom and I will get a multimedia computer in the main living room which willbe DVD player, network file player, PVR and Digital TV tuner, just waiting on some info back on a Digital tuner/PVR card that is compatible with my cable TV provider
