Hey guys,
I am having a problem with my network.

The details as I know them

Windows XP Pro.
2nd PC linked to this Main pc via a cable to a LinkSys router
I loaded the network from the XP cd and the client software for netware on both PCS.

I had this working before I ran into some malware etc. problems and rectified that but now network will not work.

Any ideas?

Might I ask why you are running the Netware client? Are you connecting to a Novell Server? Otherwise that is a real pain.

You should be able to link them just running TCP/IP with file and printer sharing turned on from the network setup wizard and both connected to the router. Router will haveto have DHCP enabled to issue addresses. Really a simple setup usually.

If malware corrupted your TCP stack you can run a program called LSPfix and that will fix the stack issue.

Well, for some reason, that is the ONLY way it will work, is with Netware running.

I fixed the problem anyway, it was the FW blocking the connection.

    Thank you anyway!
