help setting up new website

edited January 2006 in Internet & Media
Hi,

I am trying to setup and design a new forum (not tech, but on human rights issues).

I have domain name, vbulletin 3.5.1, vbadvanced 2, all installed.

I have no programming skills, and have discovered that I am really struggling learning around my other commitments.

I need somebody to help set up the site.

The forum side of things isn't a problem. But I have no idea how to use vbadvanced for the home page, and need a setup something similar to this site www.thekryptonian.com or a news / articles facility similar to that offered by short-media.

I have the style already going.

Anybody available to help?

I'm sure if you can give us a place to start others can offer some support. You say you have the style going, I am assuming you mean you're designing a layout in something like photoshop already?

I have no experience with vbulletin or vbadvanced, but I think they have interfaces you can use to help put everything together correct?

    Thanks,

But I forked out for subdreamer instead, wish I did that weeks ago now. Much easier for people with zero web programming skills to use.

I'm getting on really good setting it all up, so I should be up and running shortly.

Vbadvanced is history (well for me anyway)

Thanks for all your help guys. The Freedom Cafe is getting their. It is for anybody anywhere to let off steam or discuss about issues concerning human rights, civil liberties etc past present and future
(thanks to my guru bro spinner for his help).

This is still very much under development, and I have not advertised it yet. So there are no members.

I would really appreciate some early feedback.
