cli.exe

Hi all,
I have just built a PC for my Son. It all went ok, windows installed and wireless network running etc. I installed the chipset drivers, ok after that. Then I installed the latest graphics drivers from ATI, it running a 9800 pro. Since the graphic driver install I get two error messages after rebooting. One is the 'send to microsoft' error which says - generic host process for win32 encountered a problem and will close - the other says - cli.exe failed to initialize, I close both these and everything works but I want to stop it happening. It seems cli.exe is the 'spyware' bit of the ATI drivers and generic host for win32 seems to say a prog is trying to get to the net but can't so I assume the two are related. I uninstalled the graphics drivers and got the newest one from here at SM but the same errors come up. Can anybody help?
Cheers guys.

How can I fix this?
Did you install the .net framework as part of the Windows updates before installing the graphics drivers...? The latest ATi drivers requires the .net framework from Microsoft first (this is for the Catalyst Control Center)
cli.exe is the diagnostic process----> cli.exe
Do all the Windows updates and things first and then reinstall the catalysts from the ATi website or download the .net framework 1.1 package from Microsoft .com
Cheers mate.
Just leave it downloading & make a cup of tea mate
NTL are upgrading my connection to 10MB tomorrow, they doing yours yet...?
Im sure it's just the fact that you are spoilt
I'm only going for the 5MB as I don't want to give them #50 for a new box, 5MB will have to do, for now anyway.
I'm sticking with 1 Mb, it goes unlimited in January
Crypto
We've both been there before.
