Cd RW drive :(

Ok not to long ago i had a post on here about my lite on dvd/cd burner. and how it would only burn dvds. well i came up with a temporary solution. and hooked my old cd burner in the next drive slot. thinking id have a dvd burner and a cd burner. but then came another problem. my CD drive will not work. I put a blank cd in to burn some songs and it didnt work. so i went to my computer and clicked on the drive and it said "insert a disc into drive" so i uninstalled the drive and reinstalled it. but no luck. Now when i click on the drive it says "E:\ is not accesible, incorect function" So i dont know what to do anymore. can anyone please help me?

    Did you check the master/slave jumpers on the drives?
