HERE (and also linked from the front page of S-M).

The title is a bit misleading, it's actually a modded PSU used for testing peripherals. You have to see this, it's simply awesome :thumbsup: Simple, neat and oh soooo useful.

Looks like I have my Sunday afternoon's work all planned out, courtesy Wampa from EXTENSIONTECH.NET

    Thanks for the link Keto, much appreciated. Testing all those 12V stuff is much easier with this mod. Especially for those who want to test peltiers. ;)

    Took about an hour. Didn't shorten as many wires or clean up as much as the one in the article. Intentionally left one string of molexes long, though bundled up in an elastic band for storage. Works like a charm.

    Was a little uhhhh leery, firing up the first time - I held the PSU down with a leather knife sheath and hit the switch with a roll of electricians tape :vimp:

    No sparks no shorts. Or vice versa.

    Started with a cheap PSU that came with a case. Rated 320W P4 compliant ;)

    As noted, was not going for a 'pro' finish, just a finished job.
