Lithium Ion Batteries for cameras

I wanted to ask if it is a good idea to buy a camera that inclueds lithium ion batteries. are all types of lithium batteries rechargeble? cuz i dont wanna buy new ones everytime they run out since they are really expensive

    The li ions are supposedly long lived and the charge lasts for dang near forever as long as there's no real load.

    My old cellphone uses them and I haven't charged it in over 6mo.s and I use it as an alarm clock/phonebook and it still reads fully charged.

    I dunno about rechargable lithium batteries, but I use disposables and they work great. I get an amazing amount of pictures from a single set. I'll never use alkalines again.
