Anyone know of a good refresh rate program that can be activated and deactivated on the fly? The reason I need to deactivate is because Battlefield 1942 doesn't like a forced refresh rate :banghead:

Find the file "VideoDefault.con" in the "Settings" folder.

Change the following line: renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 0
    To: renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 1

After performing this simple operation, you will be able to set refresh rates higher than 60Hz, and system-wide forced refresh rates are allowable.

Thanks! Do you happen to know any other BF1942 tweaks? Also, what's a good refresh rate proggy that aren't tweakers. I just want to fix the 60hz refresh rate thing. Changing the settings in display tab in the display properties doesn't work :(.

    Reforce!

Autopopulates the program with the maximum refresh rate for every resolution your monitor supports, then locks those in. Every program and every resolution (Desktop included) will always use the maximum refresh rate. The program only needs to be run once!
