wierd restart when i try to hook up a router ...
first id like to say i am quite inexperienced in networking ...
ok heres the problem ... i have dsl hooked up to my computer directly and everything works fine and dandy ... however i tried to install a wireless g broadband router (d-link ... dont scold me i didnt know) and as soon as i plugged it in my computer restarted suddenly without first shutting down. i asked a buddy of mine and he told me d-link sucks and all so i went out and got a linksys router. when i hooked up this router it did the exact same thing. obviously my computer hates routers and i am clueless. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
