Smitfraud C. Having an Issue

I would really appreciate help on this pernicious virus. I ran Smitrem, Ad aware SE and Evido. Still have the Smitfraud. Computer can boot, is functional etc. The Virus is still in the systray and asks me to install antispyware software every 15 minutes or so. Smit rem seemed to be deflected by the virus. Every line of code runnign down my screen as the program ran was prceded by the words "file not found" or "path not found". I ran Hijack this and the following is the log::

    Please follow these steps:

    Step 1
    Please move HJT from your Desktop to its own folder on your C: so backups can be created. Do this before continuing.


    Step 2
    Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite here:
    http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
    Install it, and update the definitions to the newest files. Do NOT run a scan yet.


    Step 3
    You may want to print these instructions or save them as you'll have no internet connection once in Safe Mode

    View hidden files and folders - explained here

    Go into Safe Mode - explained here


    Step 4
    Run HiJackThis then:

    1. Click "Open the Misc Tools Section"
    2. Click "Open Process manager"

    -

    Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following:

    C:\WINDOWS\System\svwhost.exe

    Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". Now, click "Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain.


    Step 5
    Check the following in HJT and click 'Fix Checked' - Close ALL open Browsers first

    Step 7
    Run Ewido
    • Click on scanner
    • Click Complete System Scan and the scan will begin.
    • NOTE: During some scans with ewido it is finding cases of false positives.
    • You will need to step through the process of cleaning files one-by-one.
    • If ewido detects a file you KNOW to be legitimate, select none as the action.
    • DO NOT select "Perform action on all infections"
    • If you are unsure of any entry found select none for now.
    • When the scan is finished, click the Save report button at the bottom of the screen.
    • Save the report to your desktop
    Close Ewido


    Step 8
    Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log, as well as the log from the Ewido scan.

    Step 1
    Please move HJT (The DYNAMITE Icon) to its own folder on your C: so backups can be created. Do this before continuing.


    Step 2
    You may want to print these instructions or save them as you'll have no internet connection once in Safe Mode

    View hidden files and folders - explained here

    Go into Safe Mode - explained here


    Step 3
    Check the following in HJT and click 'Fix Checked' - Close ALL open Browsers first

    O20 - Winlogon Notify: browsela - C:\WINDOWS\system32\browsela.dll


    Step 4
    Find and Delete the following if found

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\browsela.dll << this file


    Step 5
    Reboot and post a new HJT log :)
