Samsung Problems

edited January 2006 in Hardware
Once again, I post the message. This time in a different forum because it seems more logical here. (Closed the other one, I have admin powers? Sweeet) It's sort of fixed but not fixed fixed. I have the latest driver and Samsung says it's not the monitor being broken (well, at least the FAQ says that). Is there any possible way to fix this bugger without sending it in and getting a new one?

Problem - monitor's darker than usual, when turned off then on, it reverts to a near black and off to the left state. the driver can adjust the colour/placement but I can't do it thru the onscreen menu. It's locked auto adjust and most of the colour settings.

Specs - Monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster 175v with intel driver (copied from the 'intel extreme graphics 2' control panel menu)
