Install XP Pro Error ! Need Help ! Thanks !

I tried to install the Windows XP on my laptop, it formatted the HDD up to 100% then it gave an error, can't verify Drive C: No enough memory to check disk space. Press Enter. When I did that, it gave error, unable to install another file.

Is something wrong with the Install CD or there's way to solve it? Now my laptop is sitting there without OS. Really need Help!

    What are the specs of the computer?

    Memory
    CPU type & speed
    Size of Hard Drive

    We'll by the looks of it.....not enough memory. Some of those errors are pretty generic and strange. I've gotten ones before saying "cpu failed overclock" when I put in some older ram. took it out and it booted fine.

    but yea like profdlp said, what are the specs?
