Going to OCing 3400+

Well I ordered the AMD Athlon 64 3400+ Newcastle 800MHz FSB Socket 754 Processor Model ADA3400AEP4AR - OEM

to replace the Mobile AMD 64 3200 b/c I didnt feel like messing with it to get it working. I guess I will OC it a little if my hardware is up to it.

Thats what's in it.

Looks like a good setup. Socket 754 does not support dual channel however.

ehh, doesnt matter to me, its for a friend. So this could do some ocing?. How should I check the temp? I got that case where you have the temp control. Should I go by that? or MBm5

I'd do both and compare the temps to those in the BIOS. Some programs don't always do a good job of accurately reporting temperatures and voltages.
