I am willing to buy a virus protection program but which one is really worth my bucks?

I honestly believe that Kaspersky is the best out right now.

The businessman in me tells me to tell you to click the banner on our main page (www.short-media.com) so we get a referral, but the honest dude in me says that even though we get a tiny commission from selling Kaspersky, I wouldn't have put the banner on my site if it was a crap product. It's a really good product - small footprint, fast, and very up-to-date.

I've got to agree with Prime on this, Kaspersky is simply the best overall A/V software I've messed with. Way more complete scanning than AVG or Norton and far less overhead than either.

Couple that with updates every couple of hours and you've got a winner.
