D Link DWL G810 Bridge

edited January 2006 in Science & Tech
Hey i just recently bought a D Link DWL G810 Bridge and a D Link DI-624 router. The bridge i bought had been tested at the company and contains a password...I do know the password though.. I plan on hooking the bridge up to my ps2. Is it ok to hook the bridge up to my computer to change the password and then go and hook it up to my ps2 with the new password set. I heard that these bridges have issues with ip addresses and usually get crazy when you hook them up to multiple devices. I am VERY unexperienced in wireless networking but am trying to learn and would appreciate all the help i can get. Also i am curious becuase i guess my router didnt include an antenna :( so would this one be compatible http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/Shop/Reviews.asp?ProductID=531
I dont know why it wouldnt be but just making sure.

One more question i have lost the PS2 network adapter disc and it is set up so that it has no username or password to log in. Is it possible to have my bridge and router work without any username and password. I have ordered a new disc but am an impatient person, lol. Thanks
thanks
