iTunes uses 100% CPU after upgrade.

edited January 2006 in Hardware
I updatet my iTunes to the newest version today, version 6.0.2

When there is about 10seconds left on the current song playing my CPU starts working at 100% and the whole PC slows down.
When i check the Taskmanager the process "System" uses 100% cpu.
This problem is very annoying when gaming or so.

Anybody have tips or any idea wath the problem can be?

ps: sorry for my bad english

Try uninstalling and re-installing the program. Good luck.

If you're just using it to play the music on your computer, I'd suggest you choose a different program, like WinAmp, Windows Media, or MusicMatch JukeBox. If you have some horrible obsession with this program, reinstall it, and if that still doesn't work, try to get the older version, or try system restoring to the last point before upgrading your iTunes.
