Restart, and go to program files and manually delete it. Or, try going to control panel, add/remove programs, and then remove firefox.(if your using windows xp)

ok this is so weird, my posts keep on showing up before the person above me. Sorry if this looks messed up, or maybe its just my browser, this is being very strange. Its done this to me 2 times already.

    the restart did the trick. went to add/remove and it's gone.:thumbsup:

    Downloaded firefox for a better browser and it didn't work. just gave me the hourglass and couldn't perform any functions. went to uninstall and it wont uninstall. went to tast manager to shut it down and tried to uninstall it again but no luck. if anyone knows how to make it work or just get rid of firefox please let me know
