case speaker

hey guys. i put my computer together last night and i wanted to no if those speakers u stick to the bottom of the case are necessary??

    If your motherboard has a speaker already on it then not at all but otherwise it's very helpful since it's the only indicator of what the problem is if your PC fails to post (in most cases).

    The exception being those few motherboards produced with either an onboard LED diagnostic readout or a front or rear panel readout.
