desktop does not appear--URGENT HELP!!

i just restarted my computer, and when i started it back up, nothing appears. THe only thing appearing is my blue background. My desktop, nore the start menu or the bottom bar appears. PLEASE HLP QUICKLY!! THANK YOU

i fixed it nvm jsut ran a few scans with s&d, xoftspy, and ad aware and bug doctor..
