PhoneBrowser.dll stopping my computer.HELP!!!!

I keep getting PhoneBrowser.dll Fatal rror coming up when i try to access C:drive or any dvd drives
i cannot open any files or even move files around so as not to lose them if i reinstall windows
help please
i have run AVG and many other spyware progs to try and assist but nothing helps
i have done a system restore and this hasnt helped either
any suggestions please

    firstly thanks for the response
    i have a dsl modem using bt landline for connection to the internet and only used to connect the mobile to download or upload files so i dont think that is the problem
    i foolishly opened an email with an attachment 2 days ago and i think that had the virus/trojan that is causing the problems now
    every time i click on my computer it brings up the box with PhoneBrowser.dll:Fatal Error
    and the tells le to reinstall pc suite
    i cannot install nokia pc suite as i think it is after as none of the drives will run and i cannot access any info other than in safe mode
    i cannot get into the harddrive so if i have to reinstall windows i am going to lose a lot of files that i cannot move
    i think if i try to reinstall windows anyway i will still be in the same boat
    i have run the repair and that hasnt helped
    is there anyway i can downlad or run a program to tell me which dll. is missing or corrupt?so i can replace

    a quick message to say i have sorted out the problem
    it ocurred when i tried to remove Nokia PC Suite from my computer
    it removed dll files and therefore caused the problems
    if this occurs with anyone else then i suggest going to the Nokia website and downloading the updated PC Suite from there

    it is about 15MB roughly.if it says files havnt been found click ignore or retry buttons and it should work ok

    Please uninstall either McAfee or AVG. Having two or more Anti-Virus programs can cause all sorts of problems.

    Next, can you move HijackThis from the Temp Folder and into a permant folder, in a better location such as your C:. This is important so backups can be created. Please do not continue until this is done!

    i have run spybot and done a system errors check.also run AVG and they all show the system is clear.
    i am getting quite low on harddrive space as it is only 60 gig and i am up to about 42gb.it runs really slow.
    for example if i press start...my computer it takes ages for the page to open and when it does it shows the torch searching icon
    i suppose i will have to get another hard drive and transfer all my downloads etc over to that to give it a bit of a help
    any ideas on this problem or do you think it is just that the drive is getting too full?

    You have a 60GB hard drive, with 42GBs left? If thats correct, then you have plenty of HD space.


    I see you have AVG and McAfee. Its not a good idea to have two Anti-Viruses running together as they will conflict with each other. It's ok to have one as a backup but if both have real time protection enabled, this is where the conflict begins. You can either disable one of them: OR
    Go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall one of them. You can decide which you want to keep.

    After uninstalling one, reboot! Let me know of any changes after :)

    You still have enough free HD space in my opinion but you could remove some things from Add/Remove prgrams that are undeed. This will help to free up space and might make your laptop run a bit smoother.
