According to AdAware-se this CWS has taken up residence on my computer, but doesn't seem to be able to do anything about removing it. Please can ye help?

I know practically nothing about computers so please keep it simple.

    Hi kilyth and welcome to Short-Media. Please go here and download Hijack This.

    Unzip the program to its own folder. In other words make a folder for it. You can make the folder on the desktop so it will be easier for you. Name the folder HJT for Hijack This.

    Run the program and tell it to save a log. The log will be saved in Notepad. Copy and paste the entire log into this thread so we can take a look at it.

    If these instructions aren't clear enough for you please let me know.
