Compression gone wild

So, being the geek that I am, I decided I wanted to try out this Linux Distro called Puppy... I'm downloading the ISO as we speak, and have decided to try and use it on the single NTFS partition I have (apparently it's magic, but I have a back-up). In any case, I'm doing what I'm supposed to by downloading a zip file to install in the C:\ directory and what not, and notice the zip file is 756kb, wow, that's awesome....only to unzip it and...well just look at the images!

That's what I thought at first...

I took a class in algorithm analysis, but we never got into anything that good, outside of actually forcing things to be that simple.

I dont think there is a possible way to compress data that much and still maintain integrity.

I've got it sitting right here...the file size of the zip folder is 746kb...and the file when extracted is 256mb

Edit: Thanks for the move, I had no idea where to put this :)

It's gotta be a freak of nature, and if that turns out to be a zip folder with a bunch of JPEG images.... even more insane

You can download it just by doing a search for Puppy Linux, it's Pup001.zip (it's to allow NTFS storage with a dual boot Linux...so yeah, it's a file system).
