A program that records web radio and then puts it to your ipod/mp3 player?

I was at fry's electronic today killing some time, and I saw this program

I was reading it and wow, a program that would record web radio, break up the songs, and put it on my ipod/mp3?

Its like those XM radio players but more selection, and no monthly payment. But I know better than buying a program without reading some reviews first. I've googled and haven't found any, but I thought have you guys ever seen programs like this?

For or against this? Better program that you would recommend?
