DVD Playback software...

I just tried Intervideo DVD Player and it didn't work too well. Just curious what is the best free DVD Player out there?

    I've tried it and VLC now and both freeze up when trying to play my DVD.... WTF?

    Wow, that's strange. VLC is the media player I use now. I'm almost tempted to just get rid of everything else I have.

    Does your DVD play on a regular DVD player?

    thats weird, ive used all those and they work fine. have you tried divX? i dont know if that plays dvds but i think it does. but its a good player.
    i know you heard of it.
