I recently switched the corporate AntiVirus software from Symantec(Systems Works 2002) to Avast Server and Pro(workstations) by ALWIL Software. GREAT PROGRAM!!
Of course I use more than one application to keep my company computers safe. Here's my setup for every machine:
Anti Virus Software: Avast Pro 4.6
Anti Spyware Software:
Microsoft Beta
SpyBot Search & Destroy 1.4
AdAware SE
Loaded under my Admin Login:

Avast Pro has actaully caught spyware programs that the other 3 missed.
I purposely tried to infect one of the co's laptops to see how well Avast works, and how well the AntiVirus/Spyware combo I have works...
..other that a few benign cookies, nothing gets through. I even ran trend Micro's free anitvirus software to double check my results, nothing....
..I'm not saying its perfect, as quickly as these butthead virus writers pump out their crap, nothing is going to be perfect, but it definately a step in the right direction...
Avast is a great program, and with the proper spyware removal tools, not much is going to trouble your machine
Just my 2c!!

I would also say to get SpywareBlaster 3.5.1 to block malicious ActiveX's
Agree with you Prime, Kaspersky is a great program, but a little pricey. I got a great deal through a friend who's a reseller for Avast. No program will catch everything, but with products as good as Avast and Kaspersky, you can't go wrong
Avast rocks.
Looks like she has it sorted and is pretty happy with it.
AHHHHHHH!!!
I've been caught by Judge Prime!!!
