    You could try deleting through the command prompt, I used this technique once when getting rid of a malicious "spyware" file:

    Open the command prompt* and navigate to the folder where the file is.
    To do this issue the following command: cd<space>C:\name of folder (this assumes that your file is on your C drive, otherwise replace with the appropriate drive letter)

    Then invoke this command: del<space>name of file (include extension ie - ".wav" etc.)

    To delete a folder use another command: rmdir<space>/S<space>name of folder

    *Instruction for opening command prompt:

    Command prompt can be opened in safe mode, which is probably advisable if these files are malicious. When booting up press whichever key you would use to get into normal safe mode (usually F8 or F10 I think) and choose the option "command prompt in safe mode". The other way to open command prompt in Normal setting is to go to your start button, choose run and then type - cmd.exe in the run box.*

    One last thing (I should have mentioned this first). Although this seems too simple to actually work, try highlighting the file and pressing - "SHIFT+DELETE" (not backspace). This is a short cut, usually used to delete files completely and bypass the recycle bin, however maybe it will work in this scenario also.

    I hope this helps, sorry if I rambled on a bit.

    Byron172 gave you the "Professional" answer. :thumbsup:

    If you want to try a down-and-dirty shortcut, make a new folder named JUNK, drag & drop the files into it, then try deleting the entire JUNK folder.

    If you have no luck with either of these methods, just yell and I'll link you up with a program which ought to do the job. :)

    A program that has worked for me, everytime, is "moveonboot". The best part about it is that it is free. Go to the bottom of this page where it says freeware, older versions of moveonboot 1.9.5
    http://www.gibinsoft.net/gipoutils/fileutil/ :buck::buck:

    All you do is drag the file or folder that you want to get rid of into the window. It works very well on locked applications that windows will not let you delete or rename. Then reboot and its gone.

    This sounds like a great little piece of software, have you ever tried using it to get rid of malware/virus files? I'd be interested to see how it goes.

    No I have not used it on malware or virus files. I let spysweeper and spybot take care of that for me.
