Is it possible to take the LCD off a laptop and convert it to a regular LCD you can use for a PC?

    In short... no

In long, lcds on notebooks will only work with the videocard for that notebook, If your an extreemly talented electrical enginer you could use magic to turn that onboard videocard into a pci or agp card then run a cable to the lcd panel.
