Yes there is. I am only allowing two europeans at a time onto my property. If more than two wish to visit, one european has to leave the premises per one european visiting.
If I can make it this year, I think I'll leave my computer at home and set up a strategy boardgames table for people who want to take a break from looking at the screen and want to play a game that can't crash for a little while...
I've got access to a wide selection of strategy board games, so we wouldn't really run out of material quickly.

I know you're probably referring more to the Avalon-Hill type stuff, but good old-fashioned Risk would be enough to pry me off the keyboard for a while.
If you guy see this, you guys plannin on going this year?
We always try to make it, but it's hard for us to get an ok from the parents to allow us to drive all the way up there. If we get a date down we can start planning and working on the parents. We all want to go and there's a big group of us Missouri kids that would like to go.
I have RISK, but everytime I've played it, it just goes until someone decides it's boring and quits.
I've played the game a couple dozen times, but never actually finished a game. Not once.
I could bring 'Risk 2010' or 'Risk LotR'... Both are variants of risk with new maps, and a limited number of turns (as well as some other neat strategic additions) much more fun than the original.
You're right though, most of my games are Avalon Hill style.

I have an old promise to Thrax to pay. He still haven't forgiven me for the close call 04.
Ok now I'm officially jealous if there are going to be other Europeans there
Please take a number at the gate, you europeans
