I changed to Firebird V0.6.1 about 2 weeks ago and up until yesterday all was well until this, any ideas or where I should start? It's now doing this a lot. :mad2:

Tell me the web-site that caused the error and I'll see if I can duplicate it with my Firebird .61 setup.

It happens here as well as other places, it seems more random then being a specific object on a page causing it to crash.

Possibly a file has become corrupt and that could happen for many reasons. Either a bug in Firebird itself that causes it to corrupt its own files or perhaps a virus or something else.

I'd save your bookmarks. Completely remove Firebird from the system. Re-download Firebird and install it. Hopefully all will be well. My Firebird is fine.

    I use .61 and I haven't had a single problem with it.

You could also try some other builds like the nightly ones or some that are on the forums like a AMD SSE optimized one.

Well it didn't take 2 weeks this time and am having the same problems again.

I'll try your suggestions BH as well as the link you gave on msn.

I enjoyed Firebird, but it was just too betaish for me so when I reformatted a few days ago, I just didn't bother installing it. Well there was no install on the one I used, just decompress and it worked in it's own folder which I really really liked.
