weirdness. Just....weirdness.
So, I was playing with my opty (mmmm opty how I love thee) last night and decided that since I'd hit 2.7GHz I'd try my hand at a bit of graphics card overclocking. So I fired up ATI overdrive and let it run. It crashed after several minutes... no problem, that's what it's supposed to do right? So I restarted my machine only to be greeted with a black screen... windows refused to boot. So, after much cursing I did a repair install, and restarted. Windows booted this time, but then crashed 
I had to back my htt down to 260 (*10) to get back into windows stably. Not only that, but now when I use the MSI core centre utility to watch my CPU speed it jumps about randomly, anywhere from 100*10 to 400*10 (4GHz, I wish) almost as if cool and quiet is enabled (it isn't). So tonight I'm going to start again from scratch. yay. Anyway, does anyone have a link to the thread someone (csimon I think) linked too discussing the hotfix for dual core processors? I can't find it now
