Opteron 144 success!
Hey all, from Icrontic.
I decided not to jump on the DFI bandwagon after a friend had some serious POSTing issues, so I grabbed an EPoX, and I've never been happier. I don't have my stability proof, but I've been pumping this for a week now, and I couldn't be happier.
Although I don't understand why my CPU-Z voltage reading is so low. *shrugs*
Zalman 7000AlCu on max. Jesus it's loud.

That is an excellent OC. Great work!
That's what he posted right below the pic; kind of blended in with the pic. I missed it too, first time I looked at his post.
Nice overclock man. As for the low cpu-z reading, I have no idea on that. What vcore are you running to get that overclock?
BTW, if you want even better cooling and quiet, get you a Thermaltake Big Typhoon hsf. They sell for right under $50, but they use a big ass heatpipe with a quiet 120mm fan (included). Leo is able to aircool a DC Intel 820 to 3800 MHz with one of these, so an AMD proc should be no problem.
And if I'm correct about the stock Opty 144s running at a 1.4V Vcore, then I'm at 1.55V.
