Well, folks, it's that time again. LANWAR. Unfortunately my Primary and Secondary rigs (the powerhouses) will be disconnected from the internet for two days because I'm taking them down to Louisville for LANWAR 20: 30 straight hours of LAN gaming with 550 gamers.

So how do I download a few WU's to work on over the weekend? Can I download about 4 now and set them up in a queue locally?

See you Monday! :fold:

Umm, if you setup multiple F@H (I'm guessing using the -local flag, and putting them in their own directories) then when one WU finishes start the other, or just have them all crunching at once. If your average WU takes 6 hours and you'll be gone for 60 hours then grab about 10 WUs and crunch on them over the weekend.

You can only run 4 clients at a time. There are only 4 machine IDs. You could install several OSs to get more.

Might want to get some tinkers for this. They take a little longer but are worth more points if you get the bigger 70 point WUs. Always a chance you will get the smaller ones and you dont want to drop WUs for others.
