Very stupid question about SLI

I feel like a total noob when asking this question but I can't find my answer anywhere. I am upgrading my computer right now and I plan on getting 2 eVGA Geforce 7800 GT's and running SLI. When I was on Newegg I was looking at the peices that come with the cards and I dont see any type of connector to use for SLI on the OUTSIDE of the computer. I have the little circuit board connector that comes with my motherboard and connects the two cards on the inside of the case. But when running SLI does the monitor cable connect to only 1 video card, or does it connect to both monitors with some sort of Y connector almost like ATI's Crossfire connect? I was just curious cuz I havent really played around with SLI at all and I want to make sure I have everything I need before I go and order 2 video cards. Thanks in advance!

you don't need a connector outside the computer beside the one inside to connect the two cards.

You just plug your dvi/vga cable into the first card and thats it.

Also wait about 6 days and the 7900GT's will be out for the same price!
