Sorry guys I wouldnt really dont know what to search for regarding this. So ill just ask away
When I am unraring untaring or using ISObuster to extract the files from an iso, and I am in D drive I get a moving files message at the end. And it takes a few minutes, as if it is copyen it from C drive to D drive.
Now if i do any of these operations in C drive there is no problem, but in D drive I have to wait for files to move at the end.

The simple answer is to just do it in C drive but when ya have 6 ISO's comeing down ya need to put them into yer backup drive.
Any idea's?????? or am I just stuck with this.
Thanks in advance if anyone happens to have an answer.
Oh and it is windows xp home (i know I know) and they are two WD 80gb 8mb buffer drives. C and D are on the first 80gb drive the second 80gb drive is E partion

I'm guessing D is a 2nd HDD. I would guess the HDD is slower then the 1st one but I don't really understand what you said that much. Could you clarify it a bit?

You need to set your extraction program's "Temporary files" folder to your D: drive. What happens is the extraction program is using the default temp folder (C:\documents and settings\username\local settings\temp usually) to extract the file and then moving it to the destination when it is finished. If you can search through your program's options and relocate the temp folder to D: or d:\temp\ or something like that, it'll solve your problem.
