Safely removing hardware question

I was reading the pro and con about using the quick remove and safely remove hardware way for flash drives and it says that using the safe way it improves the disk performance b/c it enables cache on the flash and windows.

I use the quick way all the time.

I just wanna know if there is a significant change because EVERYONE i know do it by safe removal.

    If I simply pull my Transcend thumbdrive from the PC when I'm done copying the files, the files don't actually get copied.

    thats with using quick removal option?? or safe
