Please Help I can't Boot up Xp
I'm using a Compaq Evo1020v.
And I upgraded the memory it was running on 128Mb on slot one,I've put 512Mb into slot 2.
when I restarted I got this message "Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM "
Prior to doing this I changed my Boot screen using Style XP software which was working ok it's still the boot screen I see when it restarts now.
I've tried to fix windows using the cd but I'm still getting the same error.
please help
