Me too. That's a good part of the reason why I'm still using an old version. I don't know what number it is, but I'm still using the last one they included the regular control panel thing with, instead of the CCC.

Can't find a reason to update. For how often I play games, I don't need the extra 5 FPS updating would give me on this old 9800pro.

I think its 5.11 or 5.12, I know, because I'm still using the older versions as well. The CCC is just awful, but without it, you can't adjust anything. God knows what ATI were thinking. It's stuff like this which will turn me back to NVIDIA. :banghead:

if you use your pc to watch movies on tv, then updating to the latest drivers is a must. The picture quality of wmv, divx ect. is simply amazing using only the ati drivers(cat6.2) and zoomplayer. That's all you need :) no need for ffdshow and what not :)
I've already downloaded cat6.3 and will be testing it out - I'm working night-shift :( GO ATI!!

yeah catalyst control center sucks. For those of you using the 5.1x driver, you might look into the third party omega drivers for your ATI card. http://www.omegadrivers.net/ Amazingly they are supported by ATI, and contain all sometimes more of the benifits of the upgrades without any of the bloat-ware. Even the display control panel looks like the good old one that we are not willing to give up. Give it a shot.
