Hijack This Log--please help

Husband was playing fast and loose with the porn sites (no pun intended) and I'm noticing the computer is INFECTED. I keep getting a warning that there is a security breach by the blackworm virus and then a WinAntiVirus Pro 2006 pops up. Screen has gone black once and the computer is running slower than normal, plus I've gotten a couple pop ups for Passion.com (or something like that) and I'm not wanting this to run away from me and get beyond my control. Can anyone help? Thanks so much if you can! PS: I ran all the suggested programs prior to creating my hijack log.

    Hi. Please follow the instructions below:

    Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.
    • Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
    • Click the Scan for Vundo button.
    • Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
    • You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
    • Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
    • When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
    • Turn your computer back on.
    • Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.

    Thanks for your quick response! I couldn't find the c:\vundofix.txt to post, but when I tried to rerun it, it said there were no files. I'm including the next HiJackThis log though. Let me know if there is more I can do. Thanks!

    OK. Looks like the Vundo trojan is gone. Good job. :) But could you do me a favor? I didn't notice this before. You are currently running Hijack This from here:

    C:\DOCUME~1\ANDIB~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\Temporary Directory 2 for hijackthis_199.zip\HijackThis.exe

    This is a temporary folder. Could you please drag the HijackThis.exe file to your desktop so we can get it out of the temp folder? Do this and then post another log. Are you still experiencing problems and if so what sort?

    YEAH!!! I THINK I transferred the correct file--looks like I had two (one from 2005 and one from 2006). Computer has actually been behaving itself--have been afraid to push it too much though, just in case. Let me know if I accomplished what you asked--THANK YOU!!!

    Hijack This is still in a temp directory:

    C:\DOCUME~1\ANDIB~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\Temporary Directory 3 for hijackthis_199.zip\HijackThis.exe

    But you're log looks OK. Are you having any other problems? You should navigate to that directory and drag and drop HijackThis.exe to your desktop in case you need to use it again. Let me know if there are any problems.
