keep your eyes on www.slickdeals.net and www.bensbargains.net - they have good HD deals here and there.
I'm assembling a PVR /tivo type system under the $$ radar.
so far
abit nf 7 & memory from jw
Xp - m 2800
xp 120 heatsink + quiet fan ( 16 dba)
coolermaster case, that I'd like to trade for a antex overture
160 GB when drasnor & I finish the trade.
win TV 350, test driving in current system (works pretty slick)
wireless KB & moose.
still need to find a video card with YPbPr type output.
or S video, not sure what either will look like on a 30" sony but just clear enough to run the PVR and the XM web pages.
Drasnor already mentioned Myth TV but not sure my wife the RN is that unix friendly.
so when it works it should be a moose driven PVr that consumes only electric.
Does the wireless moose bother your wrist with all that weight?
heh
