Fuji Finepix A340 and Linux

Does anyone know if any drivers exist for this camera to work in Webcam mode in Linux or if one of the kernels own modules work for it? I'd try it for myself but it's for a friend and he's a little far away. It has dire support as it apparently doesn't even work in XP, lol. I've browsed Google and the usual, and there is one possible match (the fpix driver) but it says the A330 doesn't work and the A340 isn't mentioned.

I found this on a Linux forums, not sure if it will help, but its a start....

Hey I solved the problem with FinePix WebCam! New Fuji cameras use WDM driver, while MSN and Yahoo support only Video for Windows. Therefore you need some sort of middleware to ‘downgrade’ it back. I used TrackerCam and it worked good for both Yahoo Messenger (6) and MSN Messenger (6.2), plus it has some neat tricks. I’m using FinePix A340. This should also help some folks with DV camcorders with USB or Fireware that want to use it as a web cam. For more info check my blog http://bobioso.blogspot.com/.

It says the A330 doesn't work in XP? Mine does ...I must be confused.
